This is proving to be a firm family favourite in our house right now (Apart from mine – Vegetarian)…
The idea is to use a muffin tin to cook these in, but my first attempt wasn’t great, and by using this tin instead I had a lot more success. I am not quite sure where I got this tin from, but you can find similar all over the internet, or you may have
more success with a normal muffin pan.
Ingredients – Makes one so times them by how many you want.
1 slice of Bacon
Optional – Salt / Pepper/ Cheese/ / Mixed Herbs/ Aromat/ Fresh Chives.
Preheat your oven to 200 C 180 C for fan assisted ovens.
Line each hole with one slice of bacon.
Cook for 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and crack one egg into each of the bacon cups, season with what ever you fancy and return them to the oven for 7-15 minutes depending on how runny/ firm you like your eggs.
Eat as a snack or serve with toast and viola.
