Bruschetta recipe

Ingredients, amounts will vary depending on how much you need.

  1. Tomatoes on the vine
  2. Garlic
  3. Basil
  4. Balsamic vinegar
  5. Salt

You can add chopped red onion too but I decided not too. Most recipes call for olive oil but I didn’t have any but I’m really pleased with how this turned out.

I chopped up about 8 tomatoes into small pieces, got rid of the juice and seeds of some to take some of the moisture away. Crushed on large garlic clove on top. Handful of basil leaves rolled up and chopped. Splash of balsamic vinegar and a sprinkle of salt. Mix all together and store.

I put it into a small Kilmer jar as it looked cute but it could also be sealed.

Leave to sit for at least 2 hours before serving.

The smell was lush!!!!! Thrown on top of some garlic infused toasted ciabatta slices and voila!!! Admittedly my ciabatta was just that little bit too toasted ๐Ÿ™ˆ.
